3 Days – Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro & Tarangire National Park

DAY 1:

Leave your hotel in Moshi after breakfast and drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch. Enter the park in the early afternoon for game drives until late in the evening then drive back to the lodge/campsite for dinner and overnight. Common animals likely to see in Lake Manyara National Park are Hippos, tree climbing lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, different species of water birds including, flamingos, pelicans, storks etc on the lake.

DAY 2:

After breakfast leave the lodge/campsite with picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro Crater. After you enter the conservation area descend the 600m high crater wall to the floor of the crater for game drives until late evening. Ascend the crater and drive back to the lodge/campsite for dinner and overnight. Common animals found on the crater are black rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, wildebeests, zebras, cheetahs, jackals, lions and many species of birds like ostrich, kori bustard which is the heaviest flying bird, lesser/greater flamingos found on the seasonal lake, larks which are the smallest flying birds and many more.

DAY 3:

Drive to Tarangire National Park after breakfast with your picnic lunch for a full day game drives until later in the evening and drive back to Arusha or Moshi or to the airport and end of 3 days 2 nights lodge/camping safari. Common animals found in this park are elephants, cheetah, wildebeests, elands, zebras, lions, leopards, giraffes, tree climbing pythons and many species of birds. This park is also heavily dominated by huge baobab trees which are one of the longest living trees in the wilderness.
