Day 1- Arrive at Lake Natron Base - 

 

  • Travel to Lake Natron village from Arusha ( 6-7 hrs by road)
  • Experience the Lake Natron, known for flamingos and stunning landscapes
  • Before starting the midnight trek, you should rest at a budget-friendly stay or campsite.

 

Day 2- Midnight Trek to Summit and Descent -

 

  • Midnight- Start trekking from the base
  • 4:30- 6:00 AM- Reach the summit well in time for the sunrise 
  • Experience the views of the Great Rift Valley, Lake Natron, and volcanic craters 
  • Head back to base
  • Rest and go back to Arusha, or keep exploring Lake Natron further
